Why does my oven not hold the right temperature?

Almost always a failing oven temperature sensor or a control that has drifted out of calibration. We measure actual cavity temperature with a calibrated probe and correct or replace as needed.

Can you repair a built-in wall oven without damaging my cabinets?

Yes. We remove and reinstall built-in ovens as part of the job, protecting cabinet faces and flooring throughout.

My oven stopped working after a self-clean cycle. Is it fixable?

Usually yes. Self-clean heat commonly blows a thermal fuse or damages the control board, and both are standard replacement parts.

What does an F-code mean on my oven?

F-codes are manufacturer fault codes — most often an open or shorted temperature sensor, a door-latch fault, or a communication error between control boards. We read the code and repair the underlying cause.

Do you service double ovens where only one cavity works?

Yes. Each cavity has its own elements, sensor and relays, so a single dead cavity is typically an isolated, affordable repair.

Oven problems we fix

Oven won't heat

Open bake element, weak gas igniter that can't open the safety valve, or a failed relay on the control board.

Temperature is off by 25–75°F

A drifting oven sensor or a control needing recalibration — we verify with a calibrated probe, not the display.

Broil works, bake doesn't (or vice versa)

A single failed element or a stuck relay on the main board. Cheap to fix once correctly isolated.

F-code on the display

Sensor open/short, latch faults, and communication errors between boards. We repair the underlying fault, not the symptom.

Door won't close or seal

Sagging hinges and a compressed door gasket letting heat escape — a common cause of uneven baking.

Self-clean killed the oven

Self-clean heat commonly takes out thermal fuses and control boards. Both are replaceable.

Wall oven and built-in oven repair

Built-in ovens are heavy, cabinet-mounted and wired directly — awkward appliances to service without the right equipment. Our Indianapolis technicians handle removal and reinstallation safely and carry bake and broil elements, oven sensors, igniters, door hinges, gaskets, thermal fuses and control boards for the common platforms.

We also calibrate. A large share of "my oven is broken" calls are actually a sensor reading 40 degrees off, which shows up as burnt edges and raw centers. We measure real cavity temperature and correct it as part of the repair.
